Kids Up Front works with over 270 registered partner agencies to facilitate experiences for over 175,000 kids in Calgary and the surrounding area. Our partner agencies agree to strictly abide by our policies in selecting children or youth who would benefit most from your donations of tickets or passes.
We accept tickets to any child-friendly event in Calgary and the surrounding area, including sporting events, performances, concerts, museums, festivals, summer camps, and more!
Please let us know what tickets you are interested in donating and provide your contact information, and we’ll be more than happy to get them into the hands of kids who will benefit from the experience!
Due to safety concerns, we typically do not accept single tickets. Please call our office for more information.
When to donate
Kids Up Front appreciates as much advance notice as possible of your ticket donation. This gives us time to select a suitable ticket recipient and coordinate logistics on the child’s behalf.
We can accept same-day donations as late as 2 P.M. for a same-day event. It's always possible we're able to use your tickets past the deadline, so please feel free to contact us if you have tickets to donate last minute.
We also have a suite donation cut-off deadline of noon the day before the event for Flames, Roughnecks and concert suites. Having said that, these high end suites can typically be taken last minute. For Hitmen suites, our donation deadline is 48 hours before the game, or Wednesday afternoon for weekend games. Like regular ticket donations, you can call us if you have a potential suite donation and the deadline has passed.
We are closed on weekends so please have all weekend ticket donations in by 2 p.m. on the Friday before the event.
If your tickets are a personal or corporate donation, please provide a copy of your invoice showing the breakdown of ticket cost, taxes and any facility fees. Under CRA restrictions Kids Up Front is only able to tax receipt for the base ticket price.
If you do not have a copy of your invoice, we encourage you to contact the organization that you purchased the tickets from and obtain a copy. We are unable to provide a tax receipt without this documentation.
Misuse of tickets
Kids Up Front does not tolerate ticket scalping. It is against our policies for tickets to be resold for profit by the agent or the recipient. Tickets are never given to volunteers, staff, friends or neighbors, unless directed by the donor, through instructions from Kids Up Front.
